GUEST SPEAKER - THERESE REIN
Our guest speaker Thérèse Rein is the Founder and Managing Director of Ingeus (www.ingeus.com), an Australian company employing over 1,700 people world-wide across 150 locations; including the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, South Korea, Poland, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. Ingeus has provided employment services since 1989 and today assists more than a hundred thousand socially and financially excluded people each year into independence with suitable and sustainable employment.
In October 2011, Ingeus acquired Assure Programs(www.assureprograms.com.au) in Australia and New Zealand. A business psychology company whose services are founded in positive psychology, providing employee assistance programs and organisational development; focusing on their clients’ strengths and abilities rather than their barriers.
Thérèse studied psychology and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters Qualifying (Psych) from ANU Canberra. She is a former Director of the National Employment Services Association Board (Australia) and former President of the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counselors (Qld). Therese was awarded the prestigious Australian Human Rights medal in December 2010 for her ongoing work and committment to celebrating and improving the lives of people with a disability and their carers.
